The Maserati Coupe (Cambiocorsa) was the successor to the 3200 and 4200 that looked to improve on some of the earlier shortcomings.
The end result was a classically styled sports-coupe which packed a Ferarri engine, derived from that in the F430.
Revised Gearbox software and tweaked suspension made for a car that performed like never before. 0-100kph comes along in at 4.4 seconds, and the reward is a gorgeous exhaust note and a ride that is compliant yet responsive.
CambioCorsa, or Race shift was the gearbox system akin to the F1 gearbox found in Ferraris of the same era and when prodded into sports mode, delivers aggressive, decisive shifts all within the driver's control via the paddles. This gave the car a level of control that simply wasn't there on the earlier models. Refinement which was enhanced by the adjustable Sachs supension.
Sporting production numbers of only 2,600 and with 400bhp this coupe is an uncommon sight on the road and delivers a driving experience not found behind the wheel of many cockpits.
Originally sold in Exeter, Devon, UK in 2005 and imported around 2011 it comes with full service history and two keys.
