Cars purchased at auction or by negotiation are sold exclusive of shipping costs unless expressly stated. Deliveries of vehicles are at the cost of the purchaser as otherwise stated,

We aim to provide tracking with all orders as far as possible however sometimes the performance of our nominated couriers is outside of our control and orders may at times take longer than estimated.

We suggest using express post for any urgent orders and do not take any responsibility for the delay or consequential loss for late deliveries."

This Sale is GST Inclusive Buyers Premium
A 2.5% buyers premium applies to all lots in this auction. The buyers premium will be added to the final bid price.

Online Auction Closing
Typically, auctions are over at their posted times. There are some exceptions to this, however, if there are any successful bids on a particular lot within 10 minutes of the close of the online auction the auction will be extended by 10 minutses - AKA Popcorn budding. This is to make the Auction fair and avoid ''sniping''.

Warranty & Registration
Warranty

Please be advised in the state of Western Australia when purchasing a vehicle through auction you will not have statutory warranty, cooling-off period or Roadworthy Certificate. Manufacturers warranties will still apply to a vehicle as per their terms and conditions, you will have to go directly to the manufacturer with the claim not Auto Exotica. The balance of a new car warranty will also apply to vehicles sold at auction. No other warranties will be provided.

Registration
Buyers should familiarise themselves with the registration requirements and procedures in their state. Registered vehicles will be sold with the balance of remaining registration. No warranties and representations are made with regard to the suitability of any unlicenced vehicle for licencing in any state beyond the identification of any written off statement that may exist. Vehicle sales exclude any government charges such as stamp duty and transfer fees.

Proof of identity. If you’re registering the vehicle in the name of a company or organisation you will need to also provide proof that it is a legal entity. You are required to transfer registration within 7 days of sale date. Please note an approved engine immobiliser must be installed and operational. At the time of registration transfer, this is the responsibility of the purchaser.

How can I reduce some of the risks of buying at auction?
Buying at auction can land a great purchase but do your homework on the value of comparative cars and make yourself aware at the vehicle.

Can I inspect the car?
Abosolutely! We highly recommend that you inspect a vehicle by appointment to inspect the vehicle. We can't offer test drives for Auction vehicles unfortunately due to Insurance arrangements. We honestly report the condition of each sale vehicle based on a walk around and test drive but there may be issues or blemishes not captured under our assessmnet.

Have we checked if there is a WOVR Record or Finance owing on the vehicle?
Absolutely! We are obliged to inform bidders and buyer if the vehicle is listed as a Statutory or Economic Repairable Write-Off. This information will be provided in the vehicle description. Any outstanding finance is cleared by Auto Exotica and the relevant financier, all vehicles will be sold unencumbered. Please feel free to conduct your own checks through PPSR
