It was designed to be a modern interpretation of the classic 1950s BMW 507 roadster, featuring an aluminum space frame chassis and a powerful 4.9L V8 engine that produced 400 horsepower.
The car was well-received by critics and had a limited production run of only 5,703 units – with a special appearance being piloted by Mr Pierce Brosnan in the World is Not Enough.
