The Ferrari is one of six Australian delivered models and there were only 559 produced in total. This particular Superamerica is finished in Rosso Corsa with tan leather interior and features the paddle operated F1 transmission.

The Superamerica is a Pininfarina designed convertible version of the Ferrari 575M with the dry sump 5.7L V12 engine from the 575M mounted at the front of the car. The 575M has 379kW of power however this was raised to 397kW due to increasing the flow rate of the intake tracts and fitting the car with a new exhaust system with less back pressure. Torque remained the same as the 575M at an impressive 588Nm. The Superamerica accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds and achieves a top speed of 320km/h. These are impressive numbers from a convertible that weighs a bulky 1790kg. The Ferrari 575Ms computer-controlled suspension is standard on the Superamerica and has two modes, comfort and sport.

The unique feature of the Ferrari is its patented carbon and electrochromic glass roof that has an operational time of just seven seconds between closed coupe to fully open convertible, and it also features five degrees of window tint for the metre-square glass panel. To maintain body rigidity with the roof open the side sills, centre chassis tunnel and the A-pillars are reinforced, with the Superamerica also being fitted with a carbonfibre boot-lid.
